Nero has been absolutely fantastic to do anything with , therefore we have decided that he is ready to be rehomed. We are asking $1000 for him or if he was to continue his education and training here his price will increase to $1500.
Payment Plan is available with a deposit , however he is to remain with us until paid for. We will continue his daily education and training routine until he leaves. Buyer is welcome to come and visit at anytime and take him for a ride also. We prefer that he went to a natural horsemanship home where he could be used for Trail Riding or Western Pleasure due to his quiet nature. He is very intelligent , always eager to please and loves cuddles. He has no kick, buck or bite, he ties up for as long as you need him to be, he floats well, loves to be washed and pampered, he will follow you around , he's pretty much a big puppy dog, and is the bottom of the herd here, he has not attempted to kick , bite or attack the other geldings. I feel that he has a lot of potential and would definately be one for the Standardbred Show Ring.

Day 1 Introduction To Saddle

Today we decided to introduce the saddle to Nero seeing he was so quiet.

True to Standy form he took it all in his stride and was very well behaved. He didn't object to anything I did with him when putting the saddle on. I then lunged him with the saddle on and he was so well behaved, he did not once attempt any biting,kicking , rearing or anything for that matter. Because I like to let them settle and introduce new things one at a time we decided not to put a rider in the saddle just yet but allow him to realise that it's not going to hurt him and he can trust us. He is definately a sweetie and if he's anything like he was today under saddle he is going to make someone a very nice horse.

After his little workout we gave him his first bath, what can I say, he just stood there lapping it all up and loved the hose being sprayed on his head. I am truely looking forward to seeing this boy under saddle.

The Beginning

Nero came to us in off the track condition, he was not underweight just still with the tight racing belly, he was unbroken to saddle but very easy to handle and do anything with. He is currently being reviewed and broken to saddle and we will then decide what type of rider he will require and what discipline he may suit.
