Today Kev was viewed by a lovely family. He was ridden by us first and he didn't put a hoof wrong, a little bit on the lazy side but did what was asked of him, he was such a good boy. He was then ridden by the lady viewing him and he went awesome, just plodded around, a little trot here and there, not once did he do anything, he stood for mounting, trotted when asked, I was very proud of him. Then it was wash time after it being so hot yesterday, and once again he tried playing with the hose, I think he loves the feeling of the spray on his tongue lol. Mr Personality!

We are really becoming attached to Kevie, he's just a beautiful boy, easy to do anything with and loves being ridden. He's abit on the lazy side when trying to get him into a canter, but with a bit more work he'll have it down pat.
We have started sending him around barrels to help with flexion and leg aids.. I think he enjoys anything as long as he's getting attention

Kevie's personality really showed today when he had his bath after he was ridden. He absolutely loved it, and not only that he tries to wash himself by grabbing the hose in between his teeth and flicking it around. He tied up really well and just stood there, allowed us to wash and cleaning everything without a single problem.

Today we decided to see how Kevie was under saddle. He came to us already broken into saddle and had been for sometime, however due to the previous owner losing confidence ( a 13year old beginner ) he then sat in a paddock for abit. So we were unsure as to how he would be, however true to Standardbred form, he was a complete gem. He has the cutest trot and canter and softens up nicely. He would definately be a looker in the hack ring, show ring etc.

We have uploaded a video of him from today, ridden by a Novice rider that has been riding only for the last 8 months. I don't think we'll have any problem finding him a suitable home ;)

Waaay too much rain for this month seen alot of flooding in many areas..meant that working with Kevie is out of the question until the mud and water subside. However he has settled in really well, he is very loving and kind and looks like he will make someone very happy :)

Beautiful 15.2hand Gelding with 2 white hind socks, nice mane and very long tail and a gorgeous face.

Very easy to handle, floats like a dream, has been broken to saddle for a while now and would suit someone from Novice onwards.
